The Boutique
Smitten was born in 2007 through the combination of three factors: my dream to own a boutique, my passion for event planning and my fascination with all of the little details of a wedding that truly make it unique to a couple. I wanted to create a space where those planning their wedding could relax and enjoy the moment, be inspired, have fun and accomplish multiple tasks. When I was engaged, I found it difficult to find many places that really focused on weddings. There were a lot of stores that carried a few wedding related items, but none where you could go for unique items or to check a number of things off "the list" at one time. From a planning perspective, I also wanted an inspired, creative and professional place where I could work with my clients.
At Smitten, we strive to create a fun atmosphere where couples can come for all of their pre-wedding needs. Whether they are looking for an experienced Wedding Planner to help them with every detail of the big day, beautiful custom invitations to set the tone for the event, creative gifts for the wedding party or unique details & accessories for the wedding itself - it can all be found through our doors!
Smitten carries unique wedding details, accessories and gifts for and from the married couple. The boutique is filled with everything from letterpress thank you notes to hand-made Italian leather photo albums, cake toppers (from modern to vintage), bridal jewelry & accessories by local Chicago artists and an extensive selection of custom made gifts - sure to make anyone smile.
