I was in my first wedding at age 6. I remember it clearly...the cake, the
dancing and -oh- the limo ride. More than anything, I remember the joy of those around me. I didn't know what I would be "when I grew up," but I knew it would involve weddings! I spent the next decade cutting apart my mom's catalogs, piecing together dresses, chairs, flowers and more.
After college, I quickly packed up and moved to Chicago where I started
working on my next goal: opening my own invitation and consulting business.
After years in the corporate world, a lot of hard work and endless moral
support from my family and friends, Magnificent Milestones opened its doors
in December of 2007 in the Fulton Market District. Since then the company
has experienced its own milestones, including merging with Smitten Boutique
to create a unique event specialty shop.
After years of planning weddings and designing one-of-a-kind invitations, I
am still that 6 year old girl mesmerized by the details, excitement and joy
that a wedding brings.
