The Glass Slipper Project
Smitten is happy to be a drop site for The Glass Slipper Project! The Glass Slipper Project collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories and provides them, free of charge, to Chicago high school students who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. They distribute the dresses at Glass Slipper "boutiques," where each student receives individual assistance from a volunteer "personal shopper" as she shops for the dress of her dreams. To date, they've helped more than 10,000 young women attend their proms in style!
We will accept donations of formal dresses, shoes, evening bags, jewelry and unused make-up and make sure that they are safely delivered to The Glass Slipper in time for the next "boutique". Prom season is coming, so dig through those closets & bring in what you don't need!

Smitten is a business member of the West Loop Community Organization and participates in their new West Loop Loot program. Magnificent Milestones is involved with the Wish Upon a Wedding charitable organization. This organization puts together fabulous weddings, with the help of donations from local vendors, for terminally ill individuals.
