Eco-Friendly Invitations
42 Pressed uses only soy based inks, 100% tree free paper and recycled materials whenever possible for packaging, shipping and other practices.
Alice Louise invitations are made from 100% cotton paper, so not a single tree falls to make the paper they use. The envelopes come from mills that practice responsible, sustainable forestry as certified by objective third parties. Also, much of their product is created using renewable energy sources, such as hydro power or wind power.
Allie Munroe's products are produced in the USA, reducing shipping resources. They use 100% cotton paper, which contains a percentage of recycled cotton from scraps of clothing factories, and use polymer plates which are totally safe for the environment rather than metal, which use harmful acids in the manufacturing process.
Arabella Papers has a longstanding partnership with carbonfund.org, donating a portion of their proceeds yearly. They also work exclusively with handmade papers, which means all of their papers have a recycled base that varies in percentage based on pigments.
Bell Invito's studio promotes tree-free production. Their letterpress is printed on cotton paper or post-consumer paper and their liners are rice papers or recycled hand made papers. Polish that off with soy ink for printing, and you have a 100% green invitation.
BT Elements paper products are made with a minimum 30% post consumer recycled paper.

Elum prints on cotton rag paper reclaimed from the garment industry. The printing inks are soy-based and all products manufactured overseas use recycled papers and cotton. Also, the gift wrap is FSC certified paper.
Float Paperie's 130lb cardstock, digital pieces use 30% post-consumer product and printed using wind-generated electricity while 110lb or 220lb letterpress papers are tree-free, 100% cotton and made out of reclaimed fibers from the garment industry.
Haute Papier's papers are 100% tree-free. On top of that, they donate hundreds of paper scrap to elementary schools each year!
Mr. Boddington's Studio is 100% tree-free. Lettepress invitations and announcements are made from 100% cotton paper.
Pica Press textured paper is 100% cotton. Pica Press paper is PCF and 100% post consumer fiber options and 100% Green-e certified.

Real Card Studio offers a variety of alternative energy production papers, such as wind and water power-produced papers, post-consumer recycled content, tree-free reclaimed cotton as well as FSC-certified papers from responsible sources. The letterpress print is made with low VOC vegetable and soy-based inks. All waste inks are contained on-site, then recycled through a fuel-blending program. In addition, they always reuse shipping and packaging materials.
Sarah Drake designs are made from recycled cotton fibers that are scraps from the textile mills, which would be placed in landfills if not made into the paper.
Simply Put designs are printed on 100% cotton rag, non-bleached paper. All letterpress printing is done with non-toxic vegetable inks in a wind-powered facility.
Smock Paper donates 1% of sales to environmental causes, is powered by wind energy, uses bamboo paper and tree-free packaging. You can't get much more green than that!
Spark Letterpress stocks 100% reclaimed cotton paper (tree-free) made up of fabrics from the garment industry that would normally have gone to waste. They also recycled chipboard and other fun, recycled colored papers!
